Richard Dreyfuss’s oceanographer character, Matt Hooper, wore an automatic dive watch in Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic, but it was hard to work out what make or model. The Nautoscaph watch was made by the Alstater Watch Co and sold under several different brand names including Wakmann and Alsta.
