AO V.2 Antarctic D dial

Antarctic D recessed crown (Richard Phillips)

It may be that the additional D stands for Date on these models.

• Circa 64. No T on dial.
• A different case with straight beveled lugs
• Partially concealed crown
• Linen dial and slightly different hour markers.

Croton Nivada Grenchen Antarctic 6D

CNG Antarctic 6D circa mid-1960s (Richard Phillips)

Larger appearance with narrow bezel, plain dial. This version has a date and is gold plated with gold dial.

• Square steel cases, integrated lugs with 18mm, screwback case with Pengiun logo
• Signed crown with N logo - scalloped on earlier examples
• ETA 2472 date auto
• Dials do not have tritium and just have Swiss Made. Possibly for Far Eastern markets.
• Silver dial with black print and black markers
• Mottled silver dial with white print and white markers
