Nivada Antarctic Late Models 1964 onwards
In this section we will mainly cover models with signed T SWISS dials circa 1964-1978. There are exceptions to this rule - see the GLACIER models. It follows on from the 1956-64 models here - Nivada Antarctic Models Click on the name of the model to see more information and images.
AO V.2 Antarctic D dial
It may be that the additional D stands for Date on these models.
- Circa 64. No T on dial.
- A different case with straight beveled lugs
- Partially concealed crown
- Linen dial and slightly different hour markers.
Croton Nivada Grenchen Antarctic 6D
Larger appearance with narrow bezel, plain dial. This version has a date and is gold plated with gold dial.

Nivada Antarctic Day Date Ref 67048
- Square steel brushed case
- Square compressor in the Zenith respirator style
- Signed crown
- Day date quick set movement
- Silver brushed dial and tritium lume hands
- NSA folded steel bracelet with signed Nivada clasp
- 18 mm lugs
Nivada Antarctic GLACIER
This model was first seen in 1967.
- Square steel cases, integrated lugs with 18mm, screwback case with Pengiun logo. Gold plated cases were an option.
- Signed crown with N logo - scalloped on earlier examples
- ETA 2472 date auto
- Some dials do not have tritium and just have Swiss Made. Possibly for Far Eastern markets.
A number of dial variations have been identified:
- White dial (in a gold case)
- Silver dial with black print and black markers
- Mottled silver dial with white print and white markers
- Blue dial - seen with Roman numerals at 6, 9 and 12
