Nivada Antarctic GLACIER

GLACIER models on Operation Deep Freeze Pillow! - Richard Phillips Collection

This model was first seen in 1967.

  • Square steel cases, integrated lugs with 18mm, screwback case with Pengiun logo. Gold plated cases were an option.
  • Signed crown with N logo - scalloped on earlier examples
  • ETA 2472 date auto
  • Some dials do not have tritium and just have Swiss Made. Possibly for Far Eastern markets.

A number of dial variations have been identified:

  • White dial (in a gold case)
  • Red stone dial in gold case
  • Silver dial with black print and black markers
  • Mottled silver dial with white print and white markers
  • Blue dial - seen with Roman numerals at 6, 9 and 12
