Note there is also a solid gold 18k cased blue dial GMT version with rubber strap - ref 2634.80.93 which is very rare.
50th v Great White
Often compared to the 50th Anniversary GMT but there are subtle differences including:
- Case Brushing
- Dial thickness - the Great White dial is much thicker and not interchangeable
- Bezels are not interchangeable with 50th Anniversary
Summary
A less common model than the 50th Anniversary black dial version. The white dial appears to be have been less popular. The legibility is not so good and the luminosity differs. These models are quite collectible now and getting harder to find in good original condition.
