  • Movement: Cal 1040 The Omega calibre 1040 that powers this Seamaster is a modified Lemania 1340.
  • Seamaster chronograph introduced in 1971 and sold until 1974, with a blue or silver dial. It could be had on a leather or Corfam strap, or a steel bracelet with a foldover Omega-signed clasp.
  • It is notable for the lack of tachymetre bezel
  • Roughly 3,000 ST 176.001s were sold
