Croton Aquamedico AM4
Essentially the same as the Aquamatic 360EL models but with a different second hand and crown. The case construction is the same. The movement is accessed via 4 screws in case lugs, then the crystal is removed and the crown extracted (it is a split stem). It is a fully automatic movement. Because of the relative difficulty of access to novices, the watches have remained in fairly decent unotuched condition despite being made in the 1940s and 1950s. It is the chromed outer case that lets them down as there are rarely found in presentable condition, whilst the movement case and crowns, being steel, are in much better condition.
