Cauny

In 1927 Cauny was created. Mireille Grebler, the youngest of the three siblings, stayed in Switzerland and became the first woman in the world to lead a watch brand. Her brothers, Albert and Henry, moved to the port cities of Tangier and Barcelona.
The company was listed in 1951 as M. Grebler and as Redia watch company at same address Company was listed in 1966 as Mireille Grebler, Cauny Watch Company
In 1973 Cauny was listed with Andre Laager, Brugg
Cauny was sold extensively throughout Spain and Portugal, where it achieved the status of a brand comparable to Benrus in the USA.
