Aquarius Peace Watch

One of the most unusual watch designs to come out of the 1960s. The intriguing feature is the second hand - a peace sign on a transparent rotating disc. It is nominally a WorldTimer watch but being dependent on a Baumgartner pin lever movement it might not be the most reliable thing to time the next plane flight by...but sure to start any conversation at the airport bar. Nor would a dip in the hotel pool be recommended, despite the lovely gold medallion of a scuba diver set in the screw back which indicates 'waterproof'. Hmmm. Perhaps the designers were smoking something, in keeping with the spirit of the Woodstock generation.
