Cornavin has been part of Swiss watchmaking history since its foundation. Cornavin was named after the city’s central district. The Cornavin company was founded in Geneva, Switzerland back in the 1920s.

3 companies exist with the Cornavin trade name. One is Adolf Müller, Cornavin Watch, Geneve. The company was listed in 1966. Another is Helbros Watch Co.Inc. Geneve, New York, Los Angeles, Neuchatel. The company assembled watches using various ebauches and imported them into the US through their New York subsidiary. Third is Cornavin Watch SA, Geneve. The company was listed in 1966 for watch making for export.

There is an association between Cornavin and Russia. Several examples have USSR stamped on the cases.
