It is believed that this Wyler RR watch was approved not only for railroad use in the USA but also for the Canadian Pacific Railroad.		A model issued by Wyler in various formats in the 1960s. 			It is believed that this Wyler RR watch was approved not only for railroad use in the USA but also for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. It has been noted that it was odd that a watch that required very specific regulation as liad down by the RR rules would have a front-loading case which made access to the movement more difficult. Indeed, it was recommended that the crystal be replaced each time it was removed, to ensure the continued waterproofing of the watch, thereby making regulation a relatively time-consuming and expensive process. Nevertheless, a number were sold by Wyler and they can still be found.

			The white dial is extremely legible with the bold black hands and numbers and it wears 'bigger' than its size. It has become collectible in its own right and the hacking feature makes this a potential regular wear wristwatch.
